• ANNEX 1 - MANDATORY CONDITIONS

   

  1. No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence:

   

  at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2. Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence. (Section 19, Licensing Act 2003)

   

  3. Where this licence authorises the exhibition of films the admission of children must be restricted in accordance with the British Board of Film Classification.

   

  4.  Where this licence includes a condition that at specified times one or more individuals must be at the premises to carry out a security activity, these individuals must be licensed by the Security Authority (Section 21, Licensing Act 2003).

  The premises opening hours detailed in this licence are at the discretion of the licence holder.

   

• ANNEX 3 - LICENSING OBJECTIVES

   

  GENERAL OBJECTIVES

   

  Hall is supervised on a regular basis. Health and safety procedures are continually updated. Bookings are made at the discretion of supervisor. The Church takes child protection seriously.  

   

  THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER OBJECTIVES

   

  The Hall is usually hired out to regular clients and is supervised on a regular basis. The Hall has been in use for years and we have not yet encountered any problems.

   

  PUBLIC SAFETY OBJECTIVES

   

  The Hall is kept in good repair. Appropriate signs are in place. Smoke alarms and fire extinguisher and fire blanket in kitchen is regularly checked. Health and safety procedures are followed to the best of our ability.

   

  THE PREVENTION OF PUBLIC NUISANCE OBJECTIVES

   

  Bookings are made at the discretion of the supervisor and are only taken from responsible adults. People who hire the Hall are usually regular users. Users are asked to finish by 23:30 because of being in a residential area. 

   

  THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM OBJECTIVES

   

  Children can only use the Hall with adult supervision. All adults connected with children's group from the Church are CRB checked. We have a child protection officer. 

   

   

• ANNEX 4 - CONDITION BY HEALTH & SAFETY

   

  In order to reduce the risk of electrocution, all entertainers' electrical equipment, including mains powered microphones, will be protected by residual current devices (RCDs) which will be tested each time before use.

• ANNEX 5 - CONDITIONS BY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

   

  Noise shall be inaudible beyond the site boundary after 22:00 hours.

   

  Signage shall be put in place requesting visitors to leave premises quietly.
